Its was passable

But overall it was kinda boring. And yes, mentioning controls would have helped! I immediately went for WASD only to see my chopper hit the bottom of the screen. The patterns for the missles were rather predictable, but at least it offered a bit of challenge by pointing towards the player. For the file size the quality was alright, but nothing really struck me as being though out too much. Most of the game looked rather generic to me. Made it to level 16 before I ran into the landscape. Probably not too good. Would plat it again but I really don't feel compelled to. Just a little work and it could be better.

Would have been better

But the enemy ai was set on braindead. Would have been better if the drones actually tried to follow the player around, it really didn't seem like they did. And the mazes where way too big, and kinda boring. One thing I don't like too much in maze type games is the areas that lead to a deadend into awall. The game just flows better when you are constantly moving, rather than having to backtrack. Plus music could have helped, the one sound effect got annoying at level three. Now on to the good points of the game. Graphics were simple but done well, and the, whatever those things were didn't look out of place. And the programming was well done, aside from the randomness of the enemies. Good smooth gameplay, not choppy or busted like some games tend to be. And the password system is a good addition. Would like to see that more often. Just try to make the mazes more interesting, and change up the enemy behaviour and this could be a winner.

Basic but fun

Yeah, I only gave it a six cause it was a bit limited as a game. The time between games was a bit long, considering its only two mouse clicks then some waiting to see what the result was. But for what it was, the game is good, simple, and easy to play. Not that i didn't like the game, just a bit too simple for my tastes. Good effort anyway.

Good simple asteroids style deathmatch

For a small file the game is extremely playable. Thought the keyboard layout is a little weird for my tastes, it works fairly well. A background would be appreciated, or at least some white dots to represent stars. Graphics are okay, not spectacular, but gets the job done. And theres only about four different sound effects, but thats just as well. For what there is its well made.

Good game, good game

Though I like Carious Weltling better, this games play mechanic was very interesting. Though it offers the same basic premise of Carious Weltling, the collecting of objects tossed by the mother whatever, the mouse fling worked interestingly well. Just that it didn't seem like you were always in control, but hey, let the chips fall where they may. As usual the graphics are amazingly well done, the style is something that hasn't been done much, if at all before. There's a universe of possibilities with these characters, though the inside of a womb didn't seem to offer as much personality as your other games, it still was quite an interesting ride. Good work and all that.

It's an original idea

But the game is just a little too easy. Would have benefitted from more that four or five patterns, plus the minion only seemed to go in the middle or the left side of the screen. I admit I got hit twice when both dragons were onscreen. The distraction tactics were an interesting gameplay feature, but once you figured out those patterns it kinda lost the point too. Maybe if more than one minion attacked at once on occasion or if there were a few different patterns, or a few more characters trying to distract you, I'd have gotten more of a kick out of this game. I thought the old guy was kinda funny throwing up in front of the minion. Not to make it sound like I hated it, but I could see this being so much more, but it was fun while it lasted.

I will try to put different options in the next game... so you can choose your difficulty... Because it is quite easy yes...
Or maybe I'll adjust this one with an eye on your suggestions.
Thanx for the review

Very retro

And very nice. And who doesn't like a well made shooter. Don't get to see these very often anymore. The extra features of the ship were a nice touch, being able to absorb energy kinda like the G-Darius alpha beam. And the small file size helps the narrowband users quite a bit. This game comes as a pleasant surprize after seeing the lastest captain low res episode. Although the game could stand to be just a little harder, I loved every minute of it. Very good job!

Reminds me of a old pc strategy game

For the file size this is an awesome game. Had a lot of fun trying to figure out all the solutions, and trying to use gravity and thrust without crashing into the moon. Overall an very nice gameplay mechanic, not too simple but not overly complex. Looking forward to your next submission.

Thanks for looking forward to my next submission!! It will be released shortly!! I just have to add some finishing touches, and then I will submit it. Thanks for your review!

Only problem is ya can't eat it

My fortune would go something like "Bad luck and extreme misfortune will infest your pathetic soul for all eternity". But hey, actually got a few good ones in here. Maybe I won't die so horribly now. Anyway, its a nice little game you made. Nothing overly spectacular, but don't need to be.

DildoDaggins responds:

I was goinig to, but its just kinda of a misfortue and not that funny. Also, that same fortune (worded almost the same) is from rockos modern life where philbert keeps getting the same fortune out of like a thousand cookies. Its a good one

The preloader lies! LIES!!!

The only real problem I have with this game is I couldn't read the text telling me what to press to reload cause it was so tiny. But what do I got to complain about. This is a very original work. The action was pretty fast, the animation pleasing. The mushrooms don't pose much of a challenge, but the multiple animated deaths kept it fresh. So as far as a sequal goes, hell yes, I'd love to see this expanded.
